What are we going to do:

  • settlement and drawing of the construction grid
  • preparation of templates for cutting; copying of elements, allowances for seams
  • clearing and drawing a skirt made of a circle and a half circle
  • modeling a skirt with a yoke and pockets
  • modeling a trapezoidal skirt
  • modeling a skirt with drapery
  • settlement and modeling of folds

  1. Each participant, for the duration of the workshop, receives basic materials and tools necessary for design and modeling work, along with an instruction on what they are for and how to use them (knives, salsers, paper, scissors, etc.)
  2. The aim of the course is to teach the participant to independently prepare a construction mesh of a basic skirt for a specific size with the necessary details. The next issues are: how to model the form so that there are four types of skirt structures (with a yoke and pockets, trapezoidal, with drapery and with folds).

After the completed course, the participant learned:

  1. What tools help and are necessary in design work.
  2. Prepare the construction mesh of the basic skirt for a specific size on your own.
  3. Model the form so that there are four types of skirt constructions (with a yoke and pockets, trapezoidal, with drapery and with folds).

Developing and perfecting manual skills, such as machine and hand sewing, allows for a completely different type of commitment and activities that can result in decoupling, relaxation combined with satisfaction and professional improvement. The workshops for children and adults offered by the Krakow Sewing School of Sewing give the opportunity to acquire and develop tailoring skills at various levels of advancement, “familiarize” with sewing machines and teach practical craftsmanship. SEWING IS BEAUTIFUL!

  • types of pants fasteners

  • cutting individual elements, applying markings, sticking drapes
